The port of Umeå investing and expanding

The port of Umeå is making investments worth around SEK 200 million in the course of five years. The ‘package´ has partly been implemented already, there´s a new wharf and new cranes and an area has been prepared to welcome new companies to set up in the dock area.

The investments are made to meet larger volumes in the future, to separate the bulk from the more refined products, and to reinforce the intermodal port connections even more.
